Everybody has plans for Christmas break except for these three. They decide to go explore the waste water treatment plant also known as the sludge fountain. At first Dave was hesitant about going because he was afraid of getting in trouble, but he still agrees to join the adventure. From that day on they became The Qwikpick Adventure Society. After almost falling in the fountain of poop and getting covered in poop, Dave and his friends end up having an adventure they will never forget. Another book similar to this one  is Pickle: The (Formerly) Anonymous Prank Club of Fountain Point Middle School. They are both about a group of young kids that form a club. In the Qwikpick Adventure Society their club is going on adventures together and in Pickle club they are out to prank students at Fountain Point Middle School. What I learned from reading this book is that as a child you shouldn't be afraid of taking risks. Go on adventures and discover what's out there.
